Dr. Illillian “Lynn” Hightower considers herself an Atlanta native. Since the age of 5, she has attended Greater Fair Hill Baptist Church and received Jesus as her Lord and Savior at the age of 12. She has served in many ministries throughout the years and currently, is Senior Director of Christian Education and Training. Dr. Hightower was licensed to preach the Word of God in December 2015 by Dr. Patrick K. Latimore, Pastor of Greater Fair Hill Baptist Church. She received the Doctor of Ministry for Biblical Counseling from Andersonville Theological Seminary, her Master of Service Management from Mercer University, her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Georgia Southern University and attended Frederick Douglass High School in Atlanta. Dr. Hightower and her husband, Minister Billy, are co-founders of Love First Ministries and have one son, Alexander. She is the eldest daughter of Mother Georgie Brown and the late Julius Alexander Jr. and the late Dawson Brown Jr. Her passions are family/friends, teaching/learning, blogging, and jigsaw puzzles. Dr. Hightower is still evolving and desiring every day to be more like Jesus! (Romans 12:1-2)
